She was predeceased by: her father Dorris E. Spurgeon; her in-laws, Lester and Berenice Bast; and her siblings-in-law, George Bast, Eugene Bast, Virginia Bast, Jean Bast and Vera Maschek.
She is survived by: her mother Frances Spurgeon (Kamler); her grandchildren, Kiyah, Neela, Emory, Patricia and Otto; her husband Donald Bast; her children, Marcus (Tanis), Danielle and Bethany (Zane Berner); and her in-laws, Rose Bast, Joan Viril, Kathleen Bast, Bill Bast (Nancy), Jerry Bast (Carolyn), Larry Bast, Chuck Bast (Suzanne) and Joan E. Haussels. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.
