It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Anna Munton of Cuba, Missouri, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis D. Morrison and Anna Chandler Morrison; her husbands, Edward L. Brakefield and Osco L. Munton; her son Ronnie Brakefield; her son-in-law Bill Trask; and her siblings, Rainey Gregory (Minnie), Troy Gregory (Emma), Ralph Gregory (Ruby), Mabel Wieland (Bob), Leonard Morrison, Lenor Morrison (Erma) and Lonnie Morrison (Dormalee).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Nicole Lizenbee (Michael) of Viburnum, MO, Sean Munton (Melanie) of Savannah, GA, Kristina Phares (Eric) of Farmington, MO, Nichole Simshauser (Levi) of St. James, MO, Megan Fisher (Shawn) of Richland, MO, Michelle Paul (Mark), George Vinson and James Vinson; her daughter Sharon Trask of Potosi, MO; her stepsons, Leonard Munton (Vickie) of Steelville, MO and Michael Vinson (Sue) of Olympia Village, MO; her great grandchildren, Dylan Johnston (Reagan), Braden Johnston, Oakley Munton, Owen Munton, Collin Ray, Caitlyn Ray, Natalie Ray, Xavier Simshauser, Meadow Paul and Meredith Paul; and her great great grandchild Hilary Johnston. She is also survived by other relatives; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Loretta's name to the Shoal Creek Cemetery or Czar Cemetery.
