She was predeceased by: her parents, James Edward, Sr. and Bessie Edwards (Mallow); her brother James Edwards, Jr.; her son Thomas (Tom); and her husband Leroy Lashlee.
She is survived by: her children, Saundra Latner of Cuba and Joseph Lashlee of Cuba; her grandchildren, Tabitha Vance (Jay Smith) and Richard Wenkel (Kecia) of North Carolina; and her pets, Sully, Poe, Tobey and Buzzy. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
