He is survived by: his wife Rita Baker; his son Bruce Baker (Meagan Johnson) of Cuba; his granddaughter Delilah Cowsert; his siblings-in-law, Rosemary Oellermann of Perryville, Ruth Pritchard (Julian) of Pacific and Roy Oellermann, Jr. (Kara) of Carbondale, IL; and his aunts and uncles, Wilma Jean Chastain of Clever, Betty Baker of Hurley, Dale Counts (Sandy) of Ironton, Charles Counts (Miriam) of Ironton, Jeanette Juergens (Paul) of Sullivan, Sharon Maesan (Bruce) of Bonne Terre and Glenna Goodman of Park Hills. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
A prayer was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 4:45 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory (904 W Washington Blvd, Cuba, MO 65453). Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (415 School Ave, Cuba, MO 65453).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Cuba FFA Program.
