With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Richard M. Thompson of Cuba, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 17, 2026 at the age of 65. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Thompson and Joyce Ann Morgan (Burris); his brother Tommy Morgan; and his parents-in-law, Billie and Dorothy Corzine.

He is survived by: his wife Becky A. Corzine of Cuba; his sons, Ryan, Billy Thompson of Cuba and Daniel Thompson of Union; his grandsons, Ryan, Billie and Owen Thompson; and his siblings, Robert Leroy Sanders of Florissant, Alan Dean Gordon of Festus, Debbie McCallister of Windsor and Sheila Leonard of Kansas City, Kansas.
