He is survived by: his wife Debra Gassmann; his children, Jake (Angie Gassmann), Jessie (David Bell), Martha Brown (Jason Evans) of Cuba and Walter Williams of Cuba; his grandchildren, Taylor, Kloe Gassmann, Winston Leonard, Sophia Bell, Blake Evans, Alyssa Gillespey, Arron Brown, Buster Jones, Dallas, Emma Williams and Presley Williams; his sisters, Rosemary Martin of Cuba and Rosalie Schaefer of Kentucky; and his daughter-in-law Kerry (Jason Quick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home & Crematory (904 W Washington St, Cuba, MO 65453). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
