With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Adams of Cuba, Missouri, born in Sullivan, Missouri, who passed away on November 26, 2025 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James Junior Adams; and her siblings, Jimmy Adams, Jane Adams, Patricia Adams and Linda Luther.
She is survived by: her mother Gerelean Smith of Steelville, MO; her sons, Steven Brumley of Bartlesville, OK and Kaden Bayless of Sullivan, MO; her grandchildren, Matilda Brumley and Malachi Brumley; and her siblings, Gary Adams of New Mexico, Lorretta Alberts of Joliet, IL, Pamala Kasten of Joliet, IL, Lois Olliges of Granite City, IL, Wilford Whobrey of St. Louis, MO, Norma Whobrey of St. Louis, MO, Patrick Adams of Steelville, MO, Jeff Adams of Steelville, MO, Kenneth Adams of Steelville, MO and Geraldine Mendoza of Thayer, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hutson Funeral Home (601 Main St, Steelville, MO 65565). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at the Steelville Cemetery (48 Church St, Steelville, MO 65565).
