We announce the death of Wade Robert Scharfenberg of Cuba, Missouri, who passed away on October 27, 2026, at the age of 72. Wade will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Roy Scharfenberg Sr. (Monetta); and his brothers, Roy Scharfenberg Jr., Danny Schafenberg, William "Billy" Scharfenberg, Edward Scharfenberg and Mark Scharfenberg.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Scharfenberg of Cuba; his son Buddy Scharfenberg (Rebecca) of Cuba; his granddaughter Aubrey of Cuba; and his brother Richard Scharfenberg. He is also survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church (622 Old Hwy 66, Bourbon, MO 65441). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
