With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lawrence J. Gilbert (Dardenne Prairie, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 13, 2025 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Michael. He is survived by: his wife Angela L. Gilbert; his daughters, Carol Sue Wert (David) and Anne Elizabeth Haluszczak (Paul); his grandchildren, Beth Anne Hoad (Denis), Brice Wert (Stacey Cook), Brant Wert (Abigail Andrew), Brittany Benson (Darren), Kristin Dement, Shannon Polk (William), Paul Haluszczak (Morgan Wootten), Andrew, Henry, Rozlynn, David, Margot, Alfred, Charles and Addison; his sister Eleanor Henry; and his close friends, Bob and Christy Hagar.
Memorial donations in Lawrence's name may be made to BJC Hospice or to the Salvation Army.
