With sadness, we share the passing of Alice Faye Cheung of De Soto, Missouri. Alice, born on December 23, 1947, passed away on October 13, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Meshell and Hope Meshell; her daughter Angie Thompson; and her siblings, Pete Meshell, Ernie Meshell, Jimmy Meshell, Steve Meshell, Albert Meshell and Viola Meshell.
She is survived by: her husband John Ho Cheung of De Soto, Missouri; her sons, Brian Thompson (Katia) of Brazil, Mark Thompson (Rena) of Chagrin Falls, Johnny Cheung of Festus, Glenn Cheung (Sonia) of Barnhart and Daniel Cheung of Troy, Missouri; her siblings, Andrew Meshell (late Virginia) of Festus, Richard Meshell of Campbell, Missouri and Geneese Meshell of Festus, Missouri; and her sister-in-law Rita Meshell of Fulton, Missouri. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other family members, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mahn Funeral Home Twin City Chapel (515 Collins Dr, Festus, MO 63028). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Til Valhalla Project in Alice's memory.
