Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vincent Eberhard and Ethel Eberhard. She is survived by: her husband John Farrar, Jr. of De Soto, MO; her children, David Maurer (Diane Mayer) of Las Vegas, NV, Joseph C. Maurer, III of Baltimore, MD and Jennifer Maurer of Maryland Heights, MO; her grandchildren, Cameron Maurer and Kierston Maurer; and her sister Shirley Leahy (late Bob).
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (6901 MacKenzie Rd, St. Louis, MO 63123).
