He was predeceased by: his parents, Odst Dean and Marvella Dean; and his siblings, Paula Cochran (Brian), Jerry Dean, Stan Dean and Nippy Dean.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Dean; his sons, Kevin Dean (Louisa) and Duwain Dean (Gina); his grandchildren, Spencer Dean, Ben Dean (Mackenzie), Cortnie Hulett (Will), Taylor Chapman (Blake), Alex Dean and Gabby Olejnik (Andrew); his great grandchildren, Ava, Carter, Sparrow, Evie, Conscious, Phoenix, Scarlet, Willie, Amori and Gracie; his brother Gene Dean (Judy); his sister-in-law Peggy Dean; Stacy.
