He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dawson and Lorraine Dawson (Kunsman); and his brothers, William Dawson and Paul Dawson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Dawson (Moses) of De Soto; his children, Robert Dawson (Karla) of Festus, Randy Dawson of Wappapello, Patrick Shackelford (Sharon) of Vermont, Danny Shackelford (Tawnya) of De Soto, Greg Shackelford of Belleville, Richard Shackelford of De Soto and Robin Allen (John) of Bonne Terre; and his siblings, James Dawson of Willow Springs, Sandra Turnbough (late Gerald) of Arnold and Margaret Manley (late Raymond) of Roxana. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and many other loving family members and dear friends.
