He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard Courtois, Sr. and Helen Baker; his stepfather Walter "Brownie" Baker; and his siblings, Janet Hess and Garry Baker.
He is survived by: his siblings, Judie Trask of De Soto, MO, Betty Sampson of De Soto, MO, Barbara Baker of De Soto, MO, Mary DeClue of De Soto, MO and Terry Baker of De Soto, MO. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
