He was predeceased by : his parents, Della Boyer and Ella Boyer; his siblings, Bessie Trojahn, Ella Hoffman, Donald Boyer and Wyman Boyer; and his siblings-in-law, Sandy Boyer, Rich Trojahn and Avery Wicker, Sr..

He is survived by : his wife Joyce Boyer; his daughter Nicole Pennock (Larry); his grandsons, Carter Pennock and Clinton Pennock; his siblings, Lena Wicker, Barbara Coleman (Jerry), Danny "Sock" Boyer (Judy) and Gerald Boyer (Kay Kite); and his sister-in-law Judy Filkins Boyer. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters Bessie Trojahn and Ella Hoffman; two brothers: Donald Boyer and Wyman Boyer; a sister in law Sandy Boyer and two brothers in law: Rich Trojahn and Avery Wicker, Sr. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, 77 Westport Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63146.
