It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith I. Davis (De Soto, Missouri), born in Valles Mines, Missouri, who passed away on August 25, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Thomas and Myrtle Burns (Henroid); her husband Glenn Davis; her daughters, Glenda Sue Clark and Cheryl K. Nelson (late Richard, Sr.); her grandsons, Matt and Dale A. Davis; and her siblings, Thelma Dorsey, Ruby Neibeker, Stella Korn Henson, Floyd Burns, Tom Burns, Stanley Burns, Earl Burns and Lawrence Burns.

She is survived by : her daughter Janet Hill (Clifford Wilson); and her grandchildren, Bradley Clark, Jr. (Amanda Taylor), Glen Clark (Felicia Dobbs), Heather Pogue (Brian), William "Billy" Davis, Jr., Gilisa Portell, Tasha Dean, Shawn Hill (Tammy), Robert Pinson, Jr. (Sheryl), James Hogan (Brandy), Jason Pruitte, Sr. (Jessica), Richard Nelson, II and James Nelson.
