He was predeceased by: his parents, Geraldine "Jackie" Ponzar, and George A. Ponzar, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Joe Boyer. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Ponzar of Cadet; his son Anthony "Tony" Ponzar of Farmington; his siblings, Regina Casey (late Earl) of Hillsboro and Richard "Rick" Ponzar (Terry) of Festus; his siblings-in-law, Sandy Bailey (late Wayne) of De Soto, Claudia Harper (Charlie) of Cadet, Debbie McClelland (late George) of Barnhardt and Gene Boyer (Gina) of Affton; and his pet Sadie.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
