It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M. Pope (De Soto, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dressing and Elsie Dressing; his former wife Shirley Jean Pope; his daughter Kim Pendleton; his granddaughter Sarah; and his half-sister Kathryn Elizabeth Deutschmann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamala Reising of Wilmington, DE and Jill Albrecht of Upper Marlboro, MD; his fiancé Beverly Poncet-Bryant; and his half-siblings, Carol Ann Lewandowski of Kirkwood, MO and Gary Dressing of Tom's River, NJ.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
