James M. Pope Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James M. Pope (De Soto, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry James' memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. May James' journey be filled with peace and serenity, and may he find rest in the embrace of eternity.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Dressing and Elsie Dressing; his daughter Kim Pendleton; his granddaughter Sarah; and his half-sister Kathryn Elizabeth Deutschmann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tamala Reising of Wilmington, DE and Jill Albrecht of Upper Marlboro, MD; and his half-siblings, Carol Ann Lewandowski of Kirkwood, MO and Gary Dressing of Tom's River, NJ.. He is also survived by five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
