He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Haverstick and Estelle Haverstick; his daughter Cathy Lones; and his brother Norman "Stick" Haverstick (Venita). He is survived by: his wife Laura M. Haverstick of De Soto; his children, Ron Haverstick (Sheri) of Moscow Mills, MO and Debbie Belt (David) of Winder, GA; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Haverstick, Misty Gullett, Brandi Williamson, Tyler Haverstick and Ryan Belt. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
