She was predeceased by: her husband John Polston; her parents, Bernadine Baker and Harry Johnson; her daughter Dawn Michelle; her granddaughter Abigail Polston; and her son-in-law Wally Montgomery Jr. (Carl).
She is survived by: her children, Demetria Serevino (David), Jessica Montgomery, Heather Polston and Eric Polston (Jaclyn); her siblings, Laurie Shay, Susan Newman (Raul), Quentin Simmons (Susie) and Steve Simmons (Rosemary); her grandchildren, Brittani, Robert, Marissa, Joseph, Brittany, Brandon, Sean, Elizabeth, Colton, Johnathan, Blaine, Nic, Stephen, Nicole, Eric Jr., Autumn, Alexis and Kendrick; and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Jax, Wyatt and Kalijah.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the De Soto Community Center (400 Boyd St, De Soto, MO 63020).
