She was predeceased by : her parents, Doyle Fooks and Margueryte Fooks; her stepmother Ona Mae Fooks; her husband Darrell D. "Sammy" Tripp; her son Keith Tripp; her granddaughter Camryn "Cam" Tripp; and her brother Steve Fooks.

She is survived by : her children, Angela Carron (Darryl), Kevin Tripp (Dina), Jeff Tripp (Michelle) and De Soto; and her brothers, Gary Fooks of Indigo Circle, FL and Ron Fooks of Apopka, FL.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Journey Community Church (820 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 10:15 AM at the National Cemetery.
