She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Whitener and Margarita Whitener. She is survived by: her children, Linda Ames, Gail Ames (Albert Santoscoy, Jr.) and Michael Ames (Donna); her stepsons, Alvin "Corky" Northcutt, Jr. (Joyce), De Soto and Kenneth Northcutt (Kris); her husband Alvin Northcutt, Sr.; her daughter Carol Ames; and her stepdaughter Brenda Howell. She is also survived by 11 grand children; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020). A Mass was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (504 S 3rd St, De Soto, MO 63020). A burial was held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home (220 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020).
