She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Gowen and Effie Gowen (Kennedy); and her brothers, Earnest A. Gowen, Raymond E. Gowen, Alvin L. Gowen, Glenn G. Gowen and Willard J. Gowen.

She is survived by: her sons, Delmar "Ray" Watson, Jr. (Sandy) of DeSoto, MO and Lee Watson (Deanna) of DeSoto, MO; her sisters, Hazel McKenzie of Ocean Springs, MS, Margie Reynolds of DeSoto, MO and Joyce Thompson of Festus, MO; her grandchildren, Lee Watson (Nicole), Rachel Watson, Ashley Watson and Cody Watson; and her great grandchildren, Zaiden, Arabella, Emeri and Westin.
