He was predeceased by: his father Charles W. Rhodes; and his daughter Pennie Marie Rhodes. He is survived by: his mother Freda Rhodes of Kansas City, MO; his wife Brenda Rhodes (Goodpaster); his son Matthew Rhodes (Kaitlyn) of Peculiar, MO; his siblings, Darrin Rhodes (Lori) of Platte City, MO and Cynthia Sheldon (Vernon) of Syracuse, UT; and his grandchildren, Devin, Mariesa, Nash and Reid. He is also survived by two nieces and seven nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rollins Funeral Home (1106 Branch St, Platte City, MO 64079). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
