While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wood and Ann Wood (Buckner). He is survived by: his son Dawson Wood; his brother John Wood; his nephew Brandon Wood; his niece Jennifer Wood; and his pet Chole.
