He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whitlock and Ella May Whitlock (Guy); and his brother Gary Whitlock. He is survived by: his wife Helen Whitlock; his children, Byron Whitlock of Oswego, KS, Dennis Whitlock of Smithville, MO and Christa Simmons (Ralph) of Tishomingo, OK; his brothers, William Whitlock Jr. and Ronald Whitlock (Hilda) of Kansas City, MO; and his granddaughters, Sarah and Jessica. He is also survived by several step grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
