She was predeceased by : her parents, Ray Eugene and Helen Louise DeBoard Gaston; her brother Ray Gaston Jr.; her husband Wallace "Doby" F. Ray; her sister Kay Proctor; and her nephews, Ryan Proctor and Steven Gaston Jr..

She is survived by : her children, Joe Crim of Joplin, Cassie L. Brown (Moe) of Adrian and George E. Crim of Springfield, Missouri; and her siblings, Steven L. Gaston (Tina) of Deepwater, Mike Gaston of Springfield, Missouri, Karan A. Kisner of Stanton and Sue Williams of Amoret, Missouri. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several stepchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
