He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucille Meyer and Donald Meyer; his brother Duane Meyer; and his grandson Braxton Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Denise E Meyer; his sons, Zachary Meyer (Makayla) of Dearborn, MO and Reagan Meyer (Kelsey Smith) of Rushville, MO; his siblings, Michael Meyer (Bea) and Mary Ruth Nienhueser (Mark); his sister-in-law Cindy Meyer; and his grandsons, Emmitt Meyer, Bosten Horner and Gatlin Meyer.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home (6054 Pryor Ave, St Joseph, MO 64504). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sugar Creek Christian Church.

Memorials are requested to the Sugar Creek Christian Church.
