It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Jane Townsend in Delta, Missouri, who passed away on March 19, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ather Rowland and Emma Rowland; and her former spouse Jerry Glen Townsend. She is survived by: her husband Billy Jack Plunk; her children, Stephen Plunk (Stephanie) and Joane'Shelly'Plunk; her stepdaughters, Cindy Leynse (Ken), Sara Hartnett (John) and Christy Burford (Barry); her sisters, Mary Sedlivy and Bertha Patterson; her grandchildren, Stephen Moore Plunk, Jacob William Plunk, Megan Holmes, Morgan Hartnett, Alexa Grimes and Allyson Smotherman; and her great grandchildren, Amelia Hartnett and Charlotte Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may also be made to the Parkinson Foundation or a charity of choice.
