With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judy L. Crain (Delta, Missouri), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 78. As we bid adieu to Judy's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Judy has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Surface and Viola Sylvia Lusk Surface; her husband George Crain; and her sisters, Mary Vanmater and Pasty Toombs.
She is survived by: her son Timothy "Scott" Surface of Delta; and her siblings, Melvin Surface, Jr., Marvin Surface, Joyce Metcalf, Linda Wells and Nancy McIntire. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
