She was predeceased by: her husband William A. "Bill" Maurer; her son Brian J. Maurer; her grandson Brian G. Havey; and her parents, Moses Boyer and Lena Mae Boyer (Hisaw).
She is survived by: her sister Joan Reinhardt of St. Louis, Missouri.; her children, Ellen Havey (Tom), Chris Maurer (Belen), John Maurer (Donna), Joe Maurer (Lisa) and Bill Maurer; and her grandchildren, Carrie Olson (Matt), Mary Jane Havey (Logan), Grace Maurer (John), Isabella Maurer, Jessica Jacoby (Daniel) and John Jr. Maurer (Sarah). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church (1510 Bopp Rd, Des Peres, MO 63131). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Gateway Down Syndrome Association or that masses be offered in her memory.
