He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony "Tony" Bena and Helen Bena; his brother Ronald "Ron" Bena; and his sister-in-law Thomasina "Tomi" Lowry. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Bena (Fisher); his sons, Gary (Mary Clare Bena), Brian (Debbie Bena) and Scott (Michele Bena); his grandchildren, Brandon (Jacquelyn), Lauren, Gavin, Connor and Brynn; and his great grandchild Willow.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
