She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd Piatt; and her former husband William Dearing. She is survived by: her husband Martin Cross; her children, Robin Howe, Tonya Howe, Billy Dearing, Jimmy Dearing, Teresa Cross, Julie Hammers (Floyd) and Lori Testamen (Bill); her grandchildren, Breanna Backlin (Zach Rulo) and Austin Dearing; her great grandchild Magnolia Rulo; and her siblings, Margery Ashbrook (Gary), Marilyn Rinehart, Judy Brown (Doyle), Roger Piatt, Richard Piatt (Shirley) and Irene Hilton (Ryon). She is also survived by other friends and family.
