He was predeceased by: his parents, Denton Scoggin and Edna May Scoggin (Barnes); his wife Nan Carolyn Scoggin (Rowland); his daughter Tracey Scoggin; and his brothers, John and Thomas Scoggin.

He is survived by: his children, Alison Scoggin (Sue Pyles) and Marc Scoggin (Debbie); and his grandchildren, Addie and Denton Scoggin.

Memorials may be directed to Alzheimer's Association.
