He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dickerson and Betty Dickerson (Overstreet); his brother John Dickerson, Jr.; his daughter-in-law Lori Dickerson; his siblings-in-law, Michael Martin, Cecelia Eaton and Cynthia Parker; and his parents-in-law, Louise and Gene Selvidge.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Dickerson (Selvidge); his children, David Dickerson (Amanda Moore), Linda Dickerson-Bell (Kevin), Crystal Heady-Fenwick (Chuck), Cheryl Lightfoot (Ricky), Nathan Crepps and Josh Irvin; his grandchildren, Monica, Cody, Jerron, Haleigh, Carson, Jake, Chase, Carter, Landon, Peyton, Trenton, Braylyn, Kellen, Maddan, Lincoln and Chris; his sisters, Virginia Sue Stegall (Jeff), Carol Hyatt (Lynn) and Patricia Dickerson; his nieces and nephews, Josh, Melissa, Samantha, Cassie, Mikayla, Ania, Jersie, Kyleigh and Terry Leach; and his sister-in-law Cathy Martin. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
