He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Laster and Hazel Josephine Taylor (Nations); and his brothers, Joseph Taylor and Jeffrey Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Taylor; and his children, Felecia Douglas (Eric), Stephen Taylor (Brandi), Tammy Moran, Daniel O'Neal and Richard O'Neal. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his significant contributions to education, Jack was a devoted member of Elvin's Ironic Masons and Eastern Star for 50 years.
