She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Wells and Eula Wells (Johnson); her son David Montgomery; her grandson Ben Montgomery; and her brother Jerry Lee Wells.
She is survived by: her husband Ronnie Skaggs; her son Charles Ray Montgomery Jr. (Elaine); her daughter-in-law Becky Montgomery; her grandchildren, Heather St. Gemme, Stephanie Watkins, Josh Montgomery, Jacob Montgomery and Kyleigh Montgomery; and her sister Judy Kassabaum. She is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 9:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home (1116 N Desloge Dr, Desloge, MO 63601). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
