He was predeceased by: his father David Oscar; and his sister Donna McDaniel. He is survived by: his wife Melba McDaniel (Burnia); his children, Kenneth McDaniel (Tracy), Wendy Holman (Mark), Christie McDaniel and Alan Ryffel (Goldie); his grandchildren, Ashley, Crystal, Kimberly, Bryan, John and Nai'a; and his brothers, Leon (Anita) and Jerry McDaniel (Norma). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
