It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leamay LaPlant of Desloge, Missouri, born in Elvins, Missouri, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Peter Sirclum and Mary Virginia Sirclum (Goverau); her son Joe LaPlant; and her siblings, Madlyn Christopher and Orvill James Sirclum.
She is survived by : her sons, Denver "Stan" LaPlant, Jr. (Cora) and Robert "Bob" LaPlant (Linda); her grandchildren, Steve LaPlant (Amy), Stacy Hertenstein (Joe), Regina Cowin (Aaron) and Bryan LaPlant; her stepgrandsons, Brian Johnston and Jason Johnston (Melanie); her great grandchildren, Jenna Hertenstein, Abbey LaPlant, Sam LaPlant, Jake Hertenstein, Tessa Ervin (Aaron), Hannah Cowin, Becca LaPlant, Riley LaPlant, Harlea Johnston, Isaiah Johnston and Alyxandria Johnston; and her close friend Jessica Hawkins.
