He was predeceased by: his father Ivan Chester; his sister Doris Waller; and his son-in-law Toby Miller. He is survived by: his wife Edna Mae Richardson (Barron); his children, Kevin Richardson (Krysta) and Melody Miller; his grandsons, Clark III and Silas Fithian; and his siblings, Darrell Richardson (Wanda) and Wanda Cooper.
