He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert L. Sutton and Naomi Sutton-Barron (Wallace); his wife Dorothy Sutton (Hays); his siblings, Carl Sutton, Charles "Slick" Sutton, Lester "Pete" Sutton, Carolyn Loomis, Patsy Black, David Sutton, Vernon Sutton and Marie Sutton; and his stepson Lester Hays.
He is survived by: his children, Edwin "Ed" Sutton (Robin) of Mitchell, Sherry Sutton of Park Hills and Timothy "Tim" Sutton (Fara) of Seattle, Washington; his stepdaughter Bonnie Ratcliff; and his grandchildren, Sarah Lindsey, Alex Sutton, Elliot Sutton (Kinsey), Leanna McMillian (Jeremy), Erin Sutton (Drew Abt), Nathan Sutton, Mayumi Remedios and Shelia Ratcliff. He is also survived by several great-great grandchildren; one brother.
