She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Maier and Dorothy Maier; and her husband Danny John Scharf. She is survived by : her son Scott Scharf (Randi) of DeSoto, MO; her grandson Mychal Scharf (Madison Breier) of DeSoto, MO; and her brother John Maier (Marsha) of Finesville, NJ. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and numerous friends.

A reception was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mahn Funeral Home, DeSoto Chapel (900 N Main St, De Soto, MO 63020).
