Debra Joyce Pruitte Obituary

Debra Joyce Pruitte, 66, of DeSoto, Missouri, passed away, Friday, December 26, 2025 in DeSoto, Missouri. She was born September 22, 1959 in Saint Louis, Missouri, daughter of Andrew and Eileen (McCoy) Eckman.

Debra enjoyed spending time with her animals, sewing and collecting items especially St. Louis Cardinals memorabilia.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Pruitte of Hillsboro, Missouri, her son, Jeremy Pruitte of DeSoto, Missouri, her daughter, Jill Pruitte of DeSoto, Missouri, her four grandchildren, Thomas, Myles, Tiffany, Britany, and Andrew, other relatives and many dear friends.

Debra was preceded in death by her father, Andrew Eckman, and her mother, Eileen Eckman.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Dr. Festus, Missouri 63028.
