Larry J. Akers Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry J. Akers of Desoto, Missouri, who passed away on August 23, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Akers and Edna Akers; his wife Ruth Akers; his stepson Ronald Hunziker; and his siblings, Bill Akers, Delano Akers, George Akers, Gerald Akers, Emma Cooper, Ruby Conway, Helen Stuart and Delores Akers.
He is survived by: his children, Larry Akers Jr., James Akers, April Seeburger and Teresa Akers; his stepchildren, Kimberly Rudolph (Scott) and Richard Hunziker; his grandchildren, Dylan Ross, Desirae Gawel (Jarrett) and Dal; and his sisters, Joan Bourn (Jim) and Dixiee Otteson.
