We announce the death of Bob Jenkins (Dexter, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 97. Bob will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Eugene Jenkins and Eva Garner Jenkins; his son Tim Lee Jenkins; and his sisters, Betty Thomure, Helen Latkovich, Mary Lou Schraum and Juanita "Nita" Lemons.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jeanne Summers (Danny) of Oro Valley, Sharon Smith of Dexter and Cindy Nichols (Joe) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; his daughter-in-law Roana Jenkins of Nolensville, Tennessee; his brother Jerry Jenkins of Dexter, Missouri; his close friend Charlotte Heller; and his grandchildren, Nic Smith, Jake Smith, Rachael Diaz, Drew Nichols, Alana Dowdy, Colton Jenkins and Jaden Jenkins. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
