She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Matney and Luzell Ashley Grubbs; and her brothers, Wimpey Matney and Robert Matney. She is survived by: her sons, Larry Eaves (Rae) of Bloomfield and Robert Eaves of Sikeston, Missouri; her siblings, Mark Matney of Dexter, Missouri, Dee Phillips of Dexter, Janey DeJournett of Dexter, Ruth Scott of Bloomfield and Carolyn Hayes of Morehouse, Missouri; her grandchildren, Lindsey Clark, Robert Eaves Jr. and Alexis Eaves; her stepgrandchildren, Paige Clark, Mason Dicks and Alyna Clark; and her close friend Billy Smith of Poplar Bluff, Missouri.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
