She is survived by: her husband Dean Proffitt; her children, Jeffery Dean (Juanita) of Pottersville and Pamela Jean (Gene) of Dexter; her granddaughters, Jammie Vaughn (Reggie) of Mountain Home, AR and Emily Hale (Ryan) of Fisk, MO; her great grandchildren, Erica Reid (Stanley) of Theodosia, MO, Lexi Vaughn of Mountain Home, AR and Conner Hale of Fisk, MO; her brother Don; her sister-in-law Carolyn Proffitt of Pottersville; her sibling's children, Cathy Proffitt Boys (Edward) of West Plains, Vicki Proffitt of Pottersville, Beth Coffman of Southhampton, NJ, Greg Proffitt (Mary Ann) of Waukesha, WI and William Coffman (Carolyn) of Ambler, PA.; and her lap kitty Louie.
After a stroke caused her not to be able to live on her own, she lived with her son Jeff in Pottersville for 2 years, then in 2021 after contracting covid, came to Dexter to live with Pam and her husband Gene until her death.
