Cathy J. Myers Dement Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cathy J. Myers Dement of Dexter, Missouri, who passed away on September 29, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar R. "Beck" Myers and Marie Schmidt Myers; and her brothers, Jim Myers and Charles Myers (Shirley). She is survived by: her boyfriend Rick Volz of Dexter; her daughters, Amanda Arthur (Aaron Shepherd) of Dexter, Carla Holt (Fred) of Belleville, Illinois and Barbara Ann Volz of St. Louis; her sister Barbara King (Bill) of Oak Ridge; and her sister-in-law Rose Myers (late Jim) of Rockview, Missouri. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center (640 W Independence St, Jackson, MO 63755). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:40 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Goshen Cemetery.
