He is survived by: his wife Anita Stanfill; his children, Cecil Haley (Heather) of Bloomfield, Missouri, John Newell (Angie) of Bloomfield, Joeye Newell (Una) of Farina, Illinois and Tina Rogers (Darin) of Chaffee, Missouri; his sisters, Pat Hart (Kenny) of Blytheville, Nyoka Flanagan of Burdette Arkansas, Sherrie Lynn Harris of Hamburg and Tammy Archibald (Danny) of Horn Lake, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Krew Haley, Graelyn Haley, Liza Johnson, Nathan Newell, Joeye Newell Jr., Lonnie Newell, Kamyron Newell, Tiffany Rogers, Ricky Hovis and Louis Rogers; and his great grandchildren, Denver Hovis and Weston Rogers.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mathis Funeral Home - Dexter (125 W Stoddard St, Dexter, MO 63841). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
