With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Clifford L. Cook of Dexter, Missouri, born in Bernie, Missouri, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Clyde Cook and Gertie Gann Cook; and his siblings, Bill Cook, Carlyn "Dee" Cook, Carolyn Link, Bernice Whitehead, Alberta Pullum and Neita Pullum.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Eva Buskey; his children, Kevin Cook of Chaffee, Missouri and Kim Putney (Henry) of Dexter, Missouri; his stepchildren, Shawn Buskey of St. Joseph, Michigan and Tiska Rodgers of Dexter, Missouri; his sisters, Della June Crossland of Festus, Judy Walker of Bernie and Barbara Maddox of Dexter, Missouri; his grandchildren, Bradley Putney and Alicia Putney; his stepgrandchildren, Wesly Rodgers, Benjamin Rodgers, Jon Rodgers, Oliver Buskey and Ian Buskey; and his great grandchildren, Cameron Putney, Kaden Swanson, Aubrey Swanson and Rilynn Swanson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bernie Cemetery (302 W Main Ave, Bernie, MO 63822).
